On October 2nd Naturalization fees will be increased by 500 dollars as a part of the Trump administration's recent attacks on immigration. This move is meant to directly target immigrants from poorer countries also increases the threshold to apply for a waiver or fee reduction for most immigrants. Only some protected immigrants, including victims of domestic violence and human trafficking, will remain eligible.
