On August 27, 2020, Herischi & Associates filed a complaint in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia against USCIS to compel USCIS to process a long-pending asylum case that had been pending for over four years. USCIS's long processing time for asylum cases led to incredible anxiety for our clients, whose lives have been stuck in limbo.
